Job description

Interpath is an international and fast-growing advisory business with deep expertise in a broad range of specialisms spanning deals, advisory and restructuring.

We deliver tangible results for global businesses, their investors, and stakeholders when complex problems arise, and critical decisions need to be made. Interpath is agile, independent, and conflict-free, and our passion for doing what’s right, every time, sets us apart.

Our diverse teams provide specialist technical knowledge combined with deep sector experience across our service line specialisms. Since our foundation in 2021, Interpath has grown rapidly, and we now have a presence across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, South Africa, Algeria, BVI, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Barbados, Hong Kong and Singapore. By 2030 we aim to be one of the world’s leading advisory firms with a truly global footprint.

As a rapidly growing advisory firm operating across complex and highly regulated environments, Interpath relies on secure, resilient and scalable technology to support both client delivery and internal operations.

The IT Technical Project Manager will play a critical role in leading the delivery of enterprise systems, infrastructure and tooling initiatives, ensuring they are implemented effectively, governed appropriately, and aligned to long-term architectural strategy.

This is a technically hands-on project delivery role requiring strong governance alongside the ability to engage credibly with engineers, architects and third-party providers. The ideal candidate will have progressed from a technical engineering, infrastructure or systems background into project management, bringing both hands-on technical expertise and proven delivery leadership to complex technology programs. Their technical foundation will enable them to challenge technical decisions, engage as a peer with engineers and architects, and drive successful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives. You will operate as part of a globally distributed IT function with UK-based leadership, working flexibly to ensure effective collaboration and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a portfolio of complex technology initiatives across infrastructure, cloud platforms, security tooling, integrations and business-critical applications
  • Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved within scope, time, cost and quality parameters
  • Translate strategic objectives into structured technical roadmaps and detailed implementation plans
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to review and validate technical designs, integration patterns and non-functional requirements
  • Identify and manage technical, architectural and operational risks, embedding mitigation strategies into delivery plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders and third-party vendors, ensuring effective resource and capacity planning
  • Operate robust change governance processes, including technical impact assessment and change control
  • Ensure smooth transition of solutions into live environments, aligned with IT service management practices
  • Support vendor evaluation, technical due diligence and technology selection processes

Experience Required:

  • Background in a technical IT role (e.g. infrastructure, cloud, networking or similar)
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale IT projects end-to-end
  • Strong technical understanding, with confidence working alongside engineers and architects
  • Experience managing risks, stakeholders and complex delivery environments
  • Comfortable working across agile and/or waterfall methodologies
  • Experience working with third-party vendors
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise in fast-paced environments
  • Must be native or fluent in English

Desirable:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), SaaS or Microsoft 365
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, data migration, integrations or automation
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g. financial services)
  • Involvement in transformation or M&A-related projects
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)

Values

Our four core values are the cornerstones of culture at Interpath and steer everything from everyday decisions to larger strategic initiatives. Our Interpath Values are;

Do the right thing - Our comfort zone is uncomfortable. We always make the right decision, not simply what is easy or popular.

All hands on deck - stand shoulder-to-shoulder with colleagues and clients, be that physically or from afar. Our individual expertise may find the answers, but implementation happens though teamwork.

Passion drives success - The impossible is always possible. We push the boundaries of what is expected because we're never satisfied with the status quo. Our clients expect the right result when they engage with us, and it's only by delivering this that we win.

Embrace different - cultures to mindsets, we welcome all. We believe that people are equal, but not the same.
