Job description

Role Summary

VUKA Group is seeking an experienced IT Technician based in Cape Town to provide technical support and maintain IT systems across the business. This role focuses on troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 administration, user support, and ensuring system security and reliability.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune).
Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes.
Maintain security protocols including MFA and access control.
Manage IT assets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
Maintain documentation and IT support records.
Support IT projects, upgrades, and implementations.
Monitor backups and disaster recovery systems.

Required Qualifications

2–3 years’ experience in IT support or administration.
Strong Microsoft 365 and Active Directory experience.
Experience supporting Windows and macOS.
Knowledge of networking (VPNs, routers, firewalls).
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

IT-related diploma or degree.
Certifications (Microsoft 365, CompTIA A+, ITIL).
