Job description
Meridian Services is offering an 18-month workplace experience programme for unemployed TVET graduates who have completed an N6 Certificate and require practical workplace experience to obtain their National N Diploma. The internship is based in Brackenfell and provides hands-on exposure to IT support, systems administration, and business technology operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to users
- Assist with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Support troubleshooting of computer systems, printers, and network-related issues
- Maintain IT records, asset registers, and documentation
- Assist with user account administration and system updates
- Support the IT team with daily operational activities and projects
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and information security standards
- Perform general IT administrative and technical support duties
Requirements
- Aged between 18 and 28 years
- Completed N6 TVET Certificate
- Unemployed and require workplace experience to obtain a National N Diploma
- Valid driver's licence is advantageous but not required
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy and technical knowledge
- Willingness to learn and work in a professional environment
