We are looking for motivated communication professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional client service and supporting high-impact communication projects.

Purpose of the Role

The Junior Account Manager will support the delivery of strategic communication projects by coordinating client activities, assisting with media engagement, developing communication materials and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior Account Managers in the delivery of communication projects.
• Coordinate client meetings and project schedules.
• Draft press releases, media advisories and communication materials.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement activities.
• Support media liaison and event coordination.
• Conduct communication research and media monitoring.
• Prepare reports and presentation material.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
• Coordinate suppliers and specialist service providers.
• Assist in developing content for digital and traditional communication platforms.

Minimum RequirementsQualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in public relations, communications or marketing.
• Experience supporting client accounts within an agency or corporate environment.
• Exposure to media relations and content development.
• Experience coordinating projects and stakeholder engagements.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with social media and digital communication platforms.

Pay: R22 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
