Junior Accountant / Junior Rekenmeester

Kern doel van die pos:

Beperk OVK risiko’s deur transaksies op FNB, ABSA en Standard bank te rekonsilieer.

Minimum Vereistes:

• Graad 12 met Rekeningkunde;
• Huidige studies in B.Com of soortgelyke kwalifikasie sal voordelig wees;
• Vorige Rekenmeesters ondervinding in Agri bedryf ‘n aanbeveling.

Vaardighede:

• Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
• Rekenaarvaardig (MS Office);
• Syfervaardig;
• Rekeningkundige insig;
• Kennis van IFRS
• Goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede.

Verantwoordelikhede:

• Bank rekonsiliasies;
• Stel maandelikse standaard joernale op;
• Doen maandelikse, kwartaallikse en jaarlikse statistiek;
• Jaarlikse IFRS berekeninge;
• Ad hoc take.

Main purpose of the position:

Limit OVK risks by reconciling transactions on FNB, ABSA and Standard bank.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Accounting;
• Current studies in B.Com or similar qualification will be beneficial;
• Previous experience as an accountant within the agricultural environment a recommendation.

Skills:

• Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Computer literate (MS Office);
• Good numerical ability;
• Accounting Insight;
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Bank Reconciliations;
• Prepare monthly standard journals;
• Annual IFRS calculations;
• Do monthly, quarterly and annual statistics;
• Adhoc tasks.
