Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor and record logistics-related expenses, including freight and warehousing costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Liaise with internal departments to align financial records with operational activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (logistics-related experience advantageous).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Comfortable with building company processes from scratch
• Experience in transport, logistics or freight accounting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R17 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
