Job description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Assistant to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in public accounting while working under the supervision and guidance of senior accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise CaseWare working paper files.
- Assist with drafting Annual Financial Statements using CaseWare.
- Compile supporting documentation for year-end files.
- Ensure files are complete, accurate and well organised.
- Update files based on review notes from senior staff.
- Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting (or currently studying towards one).
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience with CaseWare.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting practice.
Pay: R8 000,00 - R11 000,00 per month
