Job description

Candidate must have a minimum of Two year's experience in a practice environment and be competent in Excel and Pastel or similar accounting software, Xero experience will be an advantage.

Processing of invoices on Accounting software with knowledge and understanding of correct allocations.
Understanding of Creditor/Debtor Reconciliations
Experience and knowledge of VAT
Skilled in administrative tasks
Experience with Microsoft suit
Understanding of data privacy standards; integrity; honesty
Attention to detail
Deadline Driven
Self-motivation and time management
Capturing of the bank statements
Monthly Journals
Monthly Billing, etc
Preparation Petty Cash and Credit Cards Recons
Various other ad-hoc duties as required and requested by the manager
Must be computer literate
Must have accuracy in calculations
Good communication skills
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R6 000,00 - R8 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Durban, KwaZulu-Natal 4000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Accounting software: 2 years (Required)
accounting Firm: 2 years (Required)
