Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and organised Junior Administrator to provide general administrative and clerical support to our team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day office operations, maintain accurate records, communicate with clients and colleagues, and ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the team.
- Respond to emails and WhatsApp messages professionally.
- Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying and document management.
- Capture and maintain accurate information on company systems and spreadsheets.
- Prepare, format and distribute documents, reports and correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments and other activities.
- Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems.
- Assist with basic financial administration where required.
- Liaise Human Resources and other internal departments.
- Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Assist with data entry and updating company records.
- Perform general office duties and support other departments as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle company information responsibly.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
- Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
