Purpose of the Role:
Dis-Chem Life is on a mission to transform financial services in South Africa by putting people, energy, and innovation at the heart of everything we do. The Junior Administrator plays a central role in supporting our financial advisor activation force to deliver powerful, high-impact presentations, activations, and engagements across our Dis-Chem partner network and corporate partners.
Working alongside the Head of Distribution and the Events and Distribution Coordinator, this role ensures every event, from planning through to execution, runs seamlessly, reflects the professionalism of the Dis-Chem Life brand, and enhances our reputation for trust and excellence.
This is a hybrid of precision event management, proactive administrative support, and people engagement, a role for someone who thrives on structure, loves execution, and brings warmth and confidence to every interaction.
Role Summary
This role exists to support the flawless coordination, administration and delivery of all advisor-led events, presentations, and distribution activities. You will be responsible for day-to-day administration, logistical planning, and coordination support for the Head of Distribution and the Events and Distribution Coordinator.
The Junior Administrator will manage the administrative tasks that keep the distribution engine running efficiently, tracking calendars, managing invitations, coordinating materials, and ensuring every event is delivered with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Operational Support
- Manage the calendar of all distribution events, presentations, and partner engagements.
- Book appointments, confirm attendance, and manage communication touchpoints.
- Track expenses, manage event-related budgets, and coordinate supplier payments.
- Support the Event and Distribution Coordinator with administrative and operational activities as required.
- Maintain structured filing, contact lists, and tracking systems for partner and advisor communication.
Advisor and Partner Communication
- Draft and send event invitations, confirmations, and reminders.
- Follow up with partners and advisors post-event for feedback and future opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with advisors and partner contacts.
Sales and Engagement Support
- Support lead generation and appointment scheduling for advisor presentations.
- Ensure all marketing and product materials are prepared, accurate, and on-brand.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve event effectiveness and impact.

Skills and Requirements:
- Min. 1+ years of experience in administration support/junior administration roles
- Experience supporting senior leaders or sales/distribution teams preferred.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, across all levels of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
