Job description:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Booking Agent to manage reservations, coordinate availability, and ensure a smooth booking experience for clients and partners.
The Booking Agent plays a key role in maximizing occupancy, revenue, and customer satisfaction through efficient handling of bookings and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process bookings through internal systems, online platforms, and direct client inquiries
- Respond promptly to booking requests via email, phone, and messaging channels
- Coordinate availability, pricing, and special requirements with internal teams and partners
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Monitor booking trends and support revenue optimization strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and payment procedures
- Resolve booking issues or customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Provide clients with clear information regarding services, terms, and conditions
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Booking Agent, Reservation Agent, or in a similar role is is a must
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus, french)
- Proficiency with booking systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, travel, or event management is a must
- Knowledge of online booking platforms and channel management tools
- Sales-oriented approach with the ability to upsell services when appropriate
