Junior Cross Border Logistics Operator – Durban

We are seeking a Junior Cross Border Logistics Operator with a 0-2 years of experience in logistics and transport operations.

Key Responsibilities/Willing to learn:

• Opening files and handling general administration, including PODs, invoicing, and acquittals.
• Managing cross-border documentation such as road consignment notes and customs road manifests.
• Planning loads, allocating, and efficiently monitoring drivers.
• Handling border pre-clearance and tracking.
• Allocating diesel and trip allowances, as well as reconciling diesel consumption on a trip basis.
• Arranging equipment repairs and scheduling routine maintenance.
• Managing stock control of transport consumables such as tyres, oil, and coolant.
• Overseeing containerized and breakbulk loading operations.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and sober habits.
• Flexible, able to multitask, and work with minimal supervision and takes initiative.
• A qualification from a Maritime College is preferable.

Work Schedule & Remuneration:

Monday – Saturday

Salary: R5000 - R6000
