We’re a fast-growing e-commerce business looking for a bright, driven Junior Digital Merchandiser to join our Sales & Marketing team.
We’re looking for someone with some hands-on exposure to e-commerce or digital marketing who is curious, switched-on, organised, tech-savvy and eager to grow. Someone who takes ownership, pays attention to detail and is comfortable figuring things out.
What you'll be doing
- Creating, updating and optimising online product listings
- Working with product titles, descriptions, pricing, images and keywords
- Managing listings across e-commerce and marketplace platforms
- Working with platforms such as Takealot, Amazon and other online marketplaces
- Gathering product information, imagery and content from suppliers
- Monitoring product performance, competitor pricing and online trends
- Supporting new product launches and marketplace onboarding
- Working closely with our e-commerce, sales and marketing teams
The role offers broad exposure across catalogue management, e-commerce, digital merchandising and commercial activities.
Who we're looking for
- Approximately 1–5 years' experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, online retail or a related field
- Practical exposure to product listings, websites, marketplaces or digital product content
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and learning new systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, resourceful and solution-oriented
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ambitious and looking for an opportunity to grow
Experience with Takealot, Amazon, Shopify or similar platforms would be a strong advantage.
