Junior Electrician

• Fault finding, repair and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, combi ovens, bakery equipment and appliances.
• Maintenance of lighting, distribution boards and building electrics.
• Ensure compliance with SANS 10142 and OHS Act.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance and complete job cards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot cold rooms, freezer rooms, blast chillers and commercial fridges.
• Perform maintenance, temperature calibration and leak checks.
• Work with Quality and Food Safety teams to prevent product loss.
• Participate in emergency call-outs and after-hours maintenance when required.
• Conduct electrical testing and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for audits.

Minimum Requirements* Qualified Electrician – Red Seal / Trade Test Certificate (Compulsory).

• Matric / Grade 12.
• N3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• 3–5 years' experience in electrical maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration systems.
• Experience in fault-finding on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience working in a commercial, industrial, catering, food production or similar environment will be advantageous.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
