About the Role
Agility Projects & Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a motivated and technically competent Junior ERP Developer / IT Support Specialist to join our Enterprise Applications team. The successful candidate will support the implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and technical support of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions within local government and enterprise environments.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior developers, technical consultants, and business consultants to deliver ERP support, systems maintenance, user support, upgrades, integrations, and skills transfer services.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Information Technology (NQF Level 6) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Information Technology support
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and business systems
- Good understanding of software development concepts and system support
- Knowledge of databases and SQL
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advantageous Skills and Experience
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following technologies will have an added advantage:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 365
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Solar ERP, Dynamics 365 or similar)
- Application support and maintenance
- Systems integration
- API services
- Windows Server administration
- Helpdesk and incident management systems
- Reporting tools and business intelligence platforms
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing first and second-line application support
- Supporting ERP implementation and maintenance activities
- Assisting with software development and enhancement projects
- Supporting system integrations and interfaces
- Performing system testing and quality assurance activities
- Assisting with troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Maintaining technical documentation and user guides
- Supporting user training and knowledge transfer initiatives
- Participating in system upgrades and patch management
- Assisting with business continuity and disaster recovery activities
