Junior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Am EME based in Pretoria East Watloo is looking for an energetic, sharp and dedicated young professional with the following:

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Science, Construction Management/Economics ( completed)
• must be residing in Pretoria East or Central or willing to relocate within the first month
• Minimum two (2) year experience specifically in tendering (experience with Eskom, Randwater, Sanral,Municipalities,Prasa, or similar SOEs is a definite advantage. (If you do not have this experience please dont apply)
• Must be able to expertly price BOQs, pricelists or activity schedules.
• Must be able to compile tenders inclusive of administrative, commercial and technical responses
• detailed awareness of the tendering process , pricing of BOQs, technical tender responses (method statements, SHE plans , QCPs etc )
• Must be able to read drawings , do take offs, measure works , valuation , claims , financial and commercial reports
• Site and contract management
• Client liaison
• Good understanding of market development , sales , customer services
• Excellent computing (excel, word, power point) , mathematical , and organizational skills. Good command of English, well groomed
• Excellent mathematical skills (not maths literacy)
• Must be honest , self starter and dependable.
• Must have an inquisitive and entrepreneurial mind.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R13 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month
