Renumeration: Salary plus performance bonus and petrol reimbursement.

Monthly salary: Basic (R16,000.00 gross) plus performance bonus

Petrol arrangement: monthly milage reimbursement

Performance bonus scheme is available on request.

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years sales experience required.

Full product and industry training provided.

This position requires use of a personal vehicle for work purposes.

Responsible for developing and growing relationships with bookstores and educational institutions within an assigned territory.

This is a full-time, on-site role. Company is located in Johannesburg North area, Lonehill.

Role Description:

The Junior Field Sales Consultant will be responsible for building relationships with bookstores and schools and educators, promoting company's educational materials, generating leads, conducting sales calls or in-person visits, and closing sales.

The Junior Field Sales Consultant will be responsible for building and maintaining a network of bookstores and agents who will be stocking from us with our educational materials and selling them to their customers. Experience in dealing with bookstores is highly appreciated.

The Junior Field Sales Consultant will be responsible for building and maintaining a network of schools who place our educational materials onto their prescribed/recommended lists for parents to buy for their children.

The Junior Filed Sales Consultant will be also selling our educational materials to schools directly.

Additional duties include conducting product presentations, maintaining a client database, and contributing to creating sales and marketing strategies with the purpose of achieving set income targets.

The ideal candidate will act as a key brand ambassador, ensuring our products are widely known and sold in volume to our customers.

Requirements:

• You must have 1-2 years of experience in sales
• You must have a reliable vehicle and driver’s license so that you can go around and visit schools and different book outlets.
• You must be a matric graduate.
• You must be located within 30-40 minutes radius from the office maximum. Our office is located in Lonehill, Johannesburg North.

Skills required:

• You must be a closer and be very resourceful with your closing techniques.
• You must have excellent communication skills and being able to easily start conversations.
• You must have great telephonic skills and have no back off from talking to people on the phone.
• You must be energetic and willing to engage with the customer.
• You must have good customer relations skills and be able to build the rapport with our clients instantly.
• You must be target driven with self-discipline and good work ethic. Target set is target met, and this is the attitude that would be most appropriate for this position and would be expected of you to uphold.
• You must be eager to learn new things to keep improving your skills.

Pay: From R16 000,00 per month
