Location: Cape Town, Western Cape (Full-Time | Office Based)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Administrative Clerk to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive financial administration support with a primary focus on Debtors and Creditors. The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong numerical ability, and the capacity to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly dependable, and capable of maintaining accurate financial records while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Offices are located in Bloubergstrand.
Operating hours – Monday to Friday – 08h00 to 17h00
Key Responsibilities
Debtors
- Generate customer invoices and statements.
- Process customer payments and allocate receipts.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts.
- Resolve customer account queries.
- Maintain accurate debtor records.
- Assist with credit applications and customer account setup.
Creditors
- Capture supplier invoices accurately.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Prepare supplier reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments.
- Resolve supplier queries promptly.
- Maintain creditor files and records.
Financial Administration
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Capture journals where required.
- Assist with month-end procedures.
- Maintain accurate filing systems.
- Prepare financial reports for management.
- Assist with audit preparation.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures.
General Administration
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
- Assist with general office administration.
- Manage filing and document control.
- Support procurement administration.
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance (advantageous).
- 2–5 years' experience in a debtors and creditors role.
- Experience using accounting software (Sage Online Accounting)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
