Junior Fleet Controller

A Wholesale Distribution Company is looking to appoint a Junior Fleet Controller to work in their Fleet Management Department:

Primary Purpose of Position:

• Monitoring Fleet Camera Systems.
• Proposing and Implementing Operational Systems to optimise fleet operations to improve overall business operations.
• Minimize Risk by monitoring, establishing and proposing remedial action for fleet.
• Tracking vehicle locations by GPS system.
• Monitoring driver performance.
• Answering driver calls and assist where required.
• Identifying on-road exceptions and taking immediate remedial action.
• Co-ordinating and responding to emergency situations.
• Liaising with drivers, operations personnel and management.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Matric
• 1 to 2 or more years' of experience working in a similar and relevant position and environment.
• Strong understanding of maps and giving accurate directions.
• Ability to learn new computer and systems fast.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R12 000,00 - R14 000,00 per month
