Tshireletso Multi Skills and Training is a leading provider of comprehensive education and skills development, and training services. We are certified on ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety). To ensure absolute impartiality and compliance integrity, we outsource our formal internal audits to an independent third party. We are now seeking a highly proactive, hands-on Junior IMS Implementation Manager to drive the daily execution, enforcement, and continuous improvement of our system on the ground.
Role Overview
This is a high-execution, action-oriented role. You will be the champion translating ISO standards into practical, daily operational habits. You will act as the key internal liaison, ensuring all departments execute their IMS duties seamlessly so that the organisation is continuously compliant and perfectly prepared for our outsourced auditors and external certification bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Active IMS Implementation: Drive daily execution of unified ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 policies across all training and administrative operations.
- Audit Liaison & Preparedness: Act as the primary internal contact and host for our outsourced independent auditors and external certification bodies. Ensure all required evidence, registers, and documentation are perfectly organized and accessible.
- Corrective Action Execution (NCRs): Take full ownership of the non-conformance system. When outsourced auditors identify gaps, you will drive the root cause analysis and actively implement corrective and preventative actions across departments.
- Operational Risk & Hazard Controls: Roll out and enforce daily risk management protocols. Ensure hazard identifications, risk assessments, and quality control checkpoints are actively used by training staff.
- Document Control Enforcement: Maintain and police the centralized document control system. Ensure only the latest, approved versions of learning materials, safety policies, and operational forms are actively used.
- Training & Cultural Buy-In: Conduct hands-on IMS inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks for staff, facilitators, and learners to embed a practical culture of safety and quality.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on daily IMS metrics, operational objectives, and system performance indicators for senior management review.
- IMS Design & Development Control: Implement and enforce strict ISO 9001 Clause 8.3 (Design and Development) protocols for all new and updated training materials, ensuring clear records of design inputs, outputs, reviews, verifications, and validations.
- Training Material Management: Manage the lifecycle of learning materials from development through to SETA/QCTO alignment, ensuring that updates to curriculum documents strictly follow institutional quality frameworks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience actively implementing and maintaining an IMS (ISO 9001 and ISO 45001) environment. Experience within an educational, training, or skills development sector is highly advantageous.
- Education: Completed Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related compliance discipline.
- Certifications: Verifiable certifications in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Implementation (proven capability to build or maintain systems is essential).
- Technical Skills:* Exceptional mastery of root cause analysis tools, non-conformance management, document control workflows, and practical hazard/risk mapping.
- Soft Skills: Highly assertive, solution-oriented, and excellent interpersonal skills to influence staff and enforce compliance without direct managerial authority over them.
- Licence: Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Required). You will be expected to travel and sleep out between our offices and training sites at least once quarterly.
Pay: R30 000,00 per month
