Junior Intercompany Accountant

The Junior Intercompany Accountant is responsible for:

• Capturing all intercompany invoices on weekly basis
• Invoicing, confirming supporting documents, ensuring month-end invoice deadlines.
• Reconcile all Intercompany accounts monthly:
• Prepare reconciliations,
• Gather support,
• Perform matching,
• Confirm intercompany balances on monthly basis
• Track differences and escalate unresolved items.
• Preparing payment remittances on weekly basis, including documents required for payments to be processed:
• Capture remittance details, match invoices/accounts, maintain allocation tracker, and escalate unclear items.
• Ensure all intercompany payments are matched,
• Allocate documents to correct entities, customers, suppliers, shipments, or transactions and follow up on missing records.
• Provide audit support to Senior Accountants concerning intercompany accounts
• Assist with ad-hoc queries raised by Finance Manager – West Africa
