This is an in-person role based in our Cape Town office.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate own leads through research, cold calling, and networking.
- Reach out to senior decision-makers across relevant industries to pitch conferences.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
- Telephonic pitching with KPI targets.
- Negotiate pricing, packages, and contract terms to close deals.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM system such as Hubspot.
- Collaborate with the production team in Malaysia to align sales strategies with event objectives.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cold calling experience is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to learn across multiple business sectors.
- Ability to think creatively, cohesively and outside the box.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude.
- Computer literate.
- Resilient and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and be self-driven within a team structure.
