SUMMARY: Our client in the Shipping Industry is seeking a Junior IT Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line and second technical support and ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems and equipment to maximize service delivery and staff productivity.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile phones, teleconferencing facilities, and other IT hardware, as well as assisting users with technical issues and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the company's IT infrastructure.
POSITION INFO: Minimum Requirements Qualifications CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge and practical experience. CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent networking knowledge and experience. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) - Office 365. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) - Server Administration. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) - Office 365. Sophos XG Firewall Engineer certification or equivalent experience in firewall administration and support. Technical Skills and Experience Proven experience providing first- and second-line desktop support. Experience performing IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) activities for end-user devices and IT equipment. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including first- and second-line support and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application support and user assistance. Sound understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Windows Server environments. Experience providing first- and second-line support for business applications and software systems. Ability to configure, troubleshoot, administer, and maintain Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of network troubleshooting principles, including TCP\/IP, DHCP, and DNS. Experience with network cabling, patching, and connectivity troubleshooting. Competency in supporting Android and iPhone mobile devices. Experience with printer installation, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ability to support and maintain audio-visual equipment, including projectors and teleconferencing systems.
