About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and motivated individuals to join our Brand & Marketing team as Junior Marketing & Creative Assistants.

This is a paid, entry-level opportunity designed for people who want to gain practical, hands-on experience in marketing, branding, social media, content creation and digital business.

Previous professional experience is not required.

We welcome applications from school leavers, university students, recent graduates and individuals looking for their first opportunity in marketing or the creative industry.

You will receive in-house training while working on real projects and developing practical skills that can help you build a career in marketing.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities may include:

• Create basic graphics and social media content using Canva
• Research social media content ideas, trends and opportunities
• Assist with writing captions and other marketing copy
• Research competitors, brands and marketing campaigns
• Assist with content calendars and campaign planning
• Develop mood boards and creative inspiration
• Source images and creative references
• Assist with social media content preparation
• Review websites for content, formatting, links and user experience
• Help prepare and format website content and policy pages
• Conduct market, competitor and client-experience research
• Organise marketing documents, content and digital assets
• Assist with presentations and internal marketing materials
• Complete assigned online courses and internal training
• Support the Brand & Marketing team with other junior-level projects

As your skills develop, you may be given greater responsibility and the opportunity to work on more advanced projects.

Training & Development

This role combines practical work with structured learning and development.

Depending on your existing skills, training may include:

Independent Contractor Arrangement

This position is offered as an independent contractor engagement and is not an employment relationship.

The contractor will be paid R31.00 per hour for approved hours worked. Hours worked must be accurately recorded and submitted in accordance with the Company's time-tracking and payment procedures.

The contractor is responsible for their own tax affairs, statutory obligations, medical aid, insurance, retirement planning, accounting, and any legal or financial obligations applicable to them.

The Company does not guarantee any particular tax outcome, and contractors should obtain independent tax or financial advice where required.

Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

Due to the nature of the work, contractors may have access to Company information, brand assets, marketing materials, internal documents, systems and other proprietary information.

Contractors are required to maintain appropriate confidentiality and may only access, use or share Company information for authorised purposes.

All work, content, designs, research, documents, marketing materials and other deliverables created for the Company as part of the engagement will be subject to the confidentiality and intellectual property provisions contained in the independent contractor agreement.

Additional Information

This is a paid, entry-level independent contractor opportunity. In-house training, guidance and learning resources will be provided; however, participation in training or completion of the engagement does not guarantee permanent employment, continued engagement or any future position with the Company.

Successful candidates will be required to enter into the Company's Independent Contractor Agreement before commencing work.

Pay: R31,00 per hour
