Aurora Pharma is a fast-growing South African health and wellness company with an expanding portfolio of consumer brands across healthcare, wellness, beauty, and FMCG. Our brands include NeoVita, Aphrodite Beauty, CartCo, Nom Foods and other exciting products. We are looking for a creative, strategic and results-driven Junior Marketing Manager to help grow our brands and strengthen our digital presence.
Role Overview
The Junior Marketing Manager will assist in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement and sales. This role requires a balance of creativity, analytical thinking and project management, with a strong focus on digital marketing and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for multiple brands.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
- Manage and maintain brand identity and visual consistency.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify growth opportunities.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Manage social media platforms.
- Plan and execute monthly content calendars.
- Develop engaging campaigns that increase reach, engagement and conversions.
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to leverage current events and social media trends.
- Manage Meta Business Suite, including content scheduling and performance monitoring.
- Work alongside content creators, designers and photographers to produce high-quality content.
Email Marketing
- Design and manage Mailchimp email campaigns.
- Build and segment customer mailing lists.
- Develop automated email journeys.
- Analyse email campaign performance and improve open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
SEO & Website Management
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website rankings.
- Optimise website content, metadata and keywords.
- Work with web developers to improve website performance and user experience.
- Monitor website traffic using analytics tools and recommend improvements.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and interpret social media insights and website analytics.
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports.
- Track KPIs across all marketing channels.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements based on data.
- Continuously optimise marketing strategies based on campaign performance.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and brand management.
- Social media management across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Meta Business Suite.
- Mailchimp.
- SEO optimisation.
- Google Business Profile management.
- Content planning and campaign execution.
- Copywriting and proofreading.
- Marketing strategy development.
