This position is based in Boksburg and requires someone who lives close by

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
Carry out breakdown maintenance to minimize production downtime
Assist with the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment
Conduct basic fault-finding and troubleshooting on PLC-controlled systems
Support maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotic/automated equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance records and job cards
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
Assist senior maintenance staff and artisans with larger projects and planned shutdowns
Order and manage spare parts/consumables as needed for repairs
Participate in a standby/callout roster where required

Requirements:

Red Seal Millwright qualification (Sol-Tech College an advantage)
Approximately 1–2 years' experience post-qualification
Own reliable transport
Must reside close to Boksburg
Solid understanding of:
Electrical systems
Mechanical fitting
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Electronics
Basic PLC systems
Basic robotics/automation understanding

Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
