Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients through digital platforms, events, and databases.
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule introductory calls or meetings.
- Maintain and update leads and activity logs in CRM systems.
Sales Support & Administration
- Assist mid- and senior-level consultants in proposal preparation, meeting documentation, and presentations.
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling, follow-ups, and call reports.
- Support data collection for market and competitor insights.
Client Interaction & Relationship Support
- Participate in introductory client meetings and calls alongside senior consultants.
- Provide timely responses to client queries and escalate complex requests.
- Support delivery teams in ensuring seamless onboarding after deal closure.
Product & Market Familiarisation
- Develop foundational knowledge of company solutions, pricing models, and loyalty systems.
Sales Tracking & Reporting
- Record all interactions, meetings, and sales activities in CRM.
- Assist with pipeline and activity reports for management review.
Collaboration & Learning
- Participate in team meetings, sales training, and skill development initiatives.
- Shadow senior consultants to learn best practices in consultative sales.
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Follow sales governance, client privacy, and ethical conduct requirements.
- Ensure documentation and data handling comply with internal policies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- 1–2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or corporate services environments.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Competent in using CRM systems to log calls, update contacts, manage leads, and track activities under supervision.
- General familiarity with digital payments, loyalty, or fintech landscapes, ideally gained through previous exposure or onboarding training.
