Job description
Process Investigation & Gap Analysis: Conduct hands-on line studies to evaluate current fabrication/assembly methods against industry standards and engineering best practices.
Flowchart Development: Compile clear, practical, and optimized process flowcharts that resolve operational compromises and eliminate bottlenecks.
Documentation & Work Instructions: Author clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), visual assembly guides, checklist templates, and quality control checkpoints.
Staff Training: Facilitate hands-on training sessions with shop-floor team leaders, artisans, and assembly workers to ensure clear understanding of new and updated workflows.
Auditing & Compliance Follow-Up: Perform regular floor audits, time studies, and spot checks to ensure processes are strictly adhered to, identifying friction points and training gaps quickly.
Continuous Feedback: Report findings directly to the operations lead and adjust documentation/flows based on practical production realities.
Pay: Up to R15 000,00 per month
