We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented Junior Procurement Specialist to join our Operations team at our Johannesburg Office. What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the engine behind our procurement and logistics operations — making sure our stores and warehouses across three countries have exactly what they need, when they need it.Day to day, that looks like:
- Managing procurement requests from start to finish — raising orders, coordinating approvals, and making sure everything lands on time and on budget
- Keeping our ticket system clean and current — you'll work in Zoho Desk to resolve operational and procurement requests within agreed timelines
- Coordinating freight and logistics for local and international shipments across South Africa, the UK, and Australia — from waybills to customs docs
- Supporting warehouse operations at our SA and UK facilities — stock integrity, reconciliations, and keeping things running to our high standards
- Managing suppliers — building relationships, getting quotes, and making smart sourcing decisions
- Running projects on Zoho Projects — tracking timelines, controlling costs, and delivering on commitments
- Setting up and managing SLAs with our service providers — from scoping to sign-off
Requirements
You'll need:
- Matric (Grade 12) as a minimum
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong attention to detail — you spot errors before they become problems
- Good communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude
- Solid MS Office skills (especially Excel and Outlook)
Bonus points for:
A diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
Experience with Zoho Desk or Zoho Projects (or any ticketing/project management tool)
Exposure to international freight or multi-site retail environments
