SUMMARY: The Product Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the product and sales teams by managing quotations, maintaining accurate product and pricing information, monitoring product availability, and ensuring efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.

POSITION INFO: Junior Product Administrator (IT Solutions) Area: Linbro Park, Sandton Salary Package : Basic R9000 to R11000 p\/m, Medical Aid optional, Pension Fund, 08h00 - 17h00 Monday to Friday - hour lunch Purpose of the Position: The Product Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the product and sales teams by managing quotations, maintaining accurate product and pricing information, monitoring product availability, and ensuring efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to support business operations through accurate data management, timely reporting, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced IT distribution environment. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Undergo all needed training (both sales and technical) that may be required by the vendor Creating and maintaining of all Quotes Weekly updates of Computing availability report E-mail management Requirements\/Minimum Qualification: Matric\/Grade 12 (Certificate required) Computer Literate - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) One-year internal sales experience in the SA IT Industry will be beneficial Requirements: Dynamic, target driven individual Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment. Capable of quickly learning new product(s) and clearly communicating its value proposition. Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills. Strategic thinker with ability to analyse, plan and strategize within channel structure Able to understand business requirements and to derive equitable solutions. Be able to work independently & within a team Effective time-management skills Result oriented with a sense of urgency to complete projects quickly Comfortable in an environment that may be characterised by high pressure, and which is variety oriented Proficient in Excel (Advanced) and have a mathematical background to calculate margins on pricing etc. Someone from the IT Industry would be advantageous.
