About Create It 3D
Create It 3D is a fast-growing South African technology and manufacturing business supplying 3D printers, 3D scanners, laser engravers, CNC machines, consumables and related equipment. We are looking for a sharp, reliable junior team member to take ownership of product enquiries and help turn opportunities into completed sales.
This is not a passive administration role. You will communicate with customers, understand what they need, recommend suitable products, prepare quotations, follow up consistently and coordinate a clean handover once an order is placed.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to product enquiries received through email, WhatsApp, telephone and our website.
- Ask the right questions and recommend suitable machines, accessories, spares and consumables.
- Confirm supplier pricing, stock availability and lead times.
- Prepare accurate quotations and follow up until each opportunity is won, lost or scheduled for later.
- Keep every enquiry, quotation and next action properly recorded in our systems.
- Coordinate product orders with the operations team after payment.
- Keep customers updated regarding stock, lead times, dispatch and tracking.
- Provide helpful first-line customer support and escalate technical, warranty or return matters correctly.
- Help keep product information, pricing and supplier records accurate.
- Report daily on open quotations, follow-ups, sales and problems requiring attention.

- Product enquiries are answered quickly and none are forgotten.
- Customers receive accurate information and quotations.
- Follow-ups happen consistently without the director having to remind you.
- Orders are handed over correctly with complete information.
- Product sales and gross profit grow through excellent service and disciplined follow-up.
Requirements
- Matric.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Confident, professional communication with customers.
- Good computer skills and the ability to work accurately across email, WhatsApp and online systems.
- Highly organised, dependable and comfortable working with deadlines.
- Willingness to learn technical products and specifications quickly.
- Comfortable with sales targets, follow-ups and performance measurement.
- Reliable transport to Umhlanga.
- Previous sales, ecommerce, customer-service or technical-product experience is advantageous, but a strong junior candidate with the right attitude can be trained.
Working arrangement
- Full-time, on-site in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal.
- Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a one-hour unpaid meal break.
- 40 paid hours per week.
Compensation
- Starting basic salary: R5,500 gross per month.
- Performance commission: 3% of collected gross profit on qualifying product orders personally handled, subject to the written commission rules.
- Basic salary will be reviewed after the first three months based on performance, responsibilities and company growth. An increase is considered but is not guaranteed.
