Junior Quantity Surveyor

DUTIES:

• Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts. Competency in measuring quantities and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Ability to monitor project costs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Understanding of project contracts, variations, claims, and contractual obligations. Ability to evaluate quotations, assist with tender processes, and support procurement activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong aptitude for calculations, data analysis, and problem-solving. High level of accuracy in measurements, reporting, and cost calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines. Works effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Maintains confidentiality, ethical conduct, and accountability in financial and contractual matters. Willingness to learn, develop professionally, and adapt to changing project requirements. Additional duties of a quantity surveyor

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• National Senior Certificate/Grade 12
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field advantageous
• Registration as Candidate Surveyor (advantageous)
• 1-3 years experience Ability to use Microsoft Office & QS Software

Pay: From R180 000,00 per year
