Job description
Introduction
- A vacancy is available for a Receiving Officer, within a dynamic supplier of food, liquor, packaging, and cleaning products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the receiving, checking and verification of ordered stock before releasing the stock to the warehouse for storage.
- Assist with Loading and Checking of Stock for dispatching.
- Returning faulty stock to supplier for replacement.
- Updating systems with stock levels.
- Monitoring expiration dates of stock and ensure stock is returned to supplier on time for replacement
- Ensuring that Time and Attendance procedures of Warehouse Staff are followed.
- Assist with the supervision of warehouse staff and forklift operators.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Supply chain or logistics certificates (advantageous)
- 3 (three)or more years of previous warehouse receiving experience within the food and beverage industry.
- Previous knowledge of Food and Beverage Wholesale Industry.
- Valid Code 8 License
- Forklift License would be advantageous
- Knowledge of MS Office Packages
- Computer Literate
- Previous exposure to the F&B and FMCG industry within a managerial level position.
- Own reliable transport for traveling.

- Basic Salary: R14 000 -R22 000
