JUNIOR REPLENISHMENT PLANNER / ALLOCATOR (ON-SITE): TYGERVALLEY, CAPE TOWN, WESTERN CAPE

This role is responsible for ensuring the right products are available in the right stores, at the right time, and in the right quantities. You will play a key role in supporting stock allocation, replenishment planning, inventory management, and performance reporting to help drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Allocation

• Allocate stock to stores based on business requirements and allocation strategies.
• Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Balance inventory across stores to maximize sales opportunities.
• Monitor and resolve stock allocation issues.

Replenishment Planning

• Monitor store stock levels and replenish merchandise based on sales trends and stock parameters.
• Minimise stock-outs while avoiding overstocking.
• Review replenishment recommendations and make adjustments where required.
• Ensure timely replenishment of seasonal and core merchandise

Inventory Management & Reporting

• Monitor stock availability across distribution centres and stores.
• Identify slow-moving and excess stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyse sales and inventory reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Track key KPIs including stock availability, stock turn, weeks of cover, and sell-through.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Buyers, Merchandise Planners, and Merchandise Administration teams.
• Communicate stock shortages, delivery delays, and replenishment challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Retail Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in retail planning, allocation, replenishment, stock control, inventory management, or merchandise administration.
• Retail experience will be advantageous

Technical Skills

• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
• • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Pivot Tables
    • Data analysis and reporting
• Ability to interpret sales and inventory reports.
• Knowledge of retail replenishment and inventory management principles.
• Experience with merchandise planning systems will be advantageous
