Junior Site Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee daily building operations across our construction sites in Cape Town. You will manage teams, enforce safety compliance, and ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. A relevant building diploma and prior supervisory experience are strictly required.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Operations: Coordinate daily construction activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with architectural blueprints and quality standards.
• Resource Allocation: Oversee the distribution of materials, tools, and labour to maintain high productivity.
• Health & Safety: Enforce OHS regulations, facilitate on-site toolbox talks, and manage site safety files to prevent accidents.
• Progress Reporting: Monitor daily expenditures, prevent overspending, and provide regular progress reports to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant NQF Level 5/6 qualification.
• Experience: 3–5+ years of proven hands-on experience in a construction site supervisor or foreman role.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Compliance: Solid understanding of local construction codes and OHS Act requirements.
• Transport: Valid Code B driver's license and reliable own transport (company bakkie may be provided for site use).
