Junior Software Developer

As a Junior Developer, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our business systems, maintaining data integrity across platforms, and delivering meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with software systems, improving processes, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Manage and develop in-house manufacturing tracking application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage existing production tracking application

• Expand existing applications, and develop new functionality

• Maintain and manage data feeds between business operating system, databases, and tracking application

• Maintain and enhance integration between different business systems

• Monitor and manage operational workflows and resolve system-related issues

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and reporting tools

• Analyse operational and production data to provide actionable business insights

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective data and system management Skills and Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple processes and priorities simultaneously

• Proficiency in software development and database management

• Strong understanding of business systems and operational processes Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• 1–2 years' experience in Computer Programming, Data Analysis, or a similar role

• Experience working with SQL databases

• Knowledge of MRP and Business Operating Systems

• Experience with data reporting and dashboard development
