Role Purpose The Junior Test Analyst is responsible for supporting the software testing lifecycle by executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers, Product Owner teams to ensure high-quality delivery of systems and enhancements. The Junior Test Analyst will assist in executing test cases, reporting issues, and validating fixes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving and quality assurance.
Requirements****Qualification:

Grade 12 (Matric).
-
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
-
2-4 years relevant IT experience (essential) .
-
ISTQB Foundation Certification (advantageous).
-
0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance (including internships or academic projects).
-
Experience with Agile methodologies is an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities****Testing & Quality Assurance:
-
Execute test cases (manual and/or automated) according to defined test plans.
-
Document test results and ensure accurate and complete defect logging.
-
Assist in preparing test data and test environments.
-
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
-
Participate in reviewing requirements and specifications to ensure testability.
Collaboration & Communication:
-
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements.

Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the Test Lead.

Support business users during UAT cycles.
Documentation:
-
Maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test cases, test reports, and defect logs.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and QA standards.
