Junior-to-Mid Level Video Editor | Full-time | Remote | R15,000–R18,000 CTC

Haven & Hadley is looking for a creative, detail-oriented video editor for hospitality and lifestyle content.

This is permanent, full-time employment, not freelance or contract work.

We believe in unreasonable hospitality and unreasonable attention to detail.

You should be able to move between polished brand work, UGC-style social content, spoken edits, cutdowns and story-led pieces. We care about emotion, narrative, rhythm, eye trace, performance, sound and technical finish - just as much as we care about clear communication, good manners, responsiveness, ownership and meeting agreed deadlines.

You will need:

• A strong and consistent portfolio
• Your own reliable editing computer
• Reliable, fast internet
• Experience with LOG footage
• Sound judgement around pacing, shot selection, colour, sound and platform formats
• The ability to work independently and accept feedback
• Full-time availability

Commercial pace matters. Depending on complexity, a typical benchmark is 3–5 simple cutdowns, 1–2 standard social edits, or around one more involved story-led edit in a day. Larger hero edits are scoped separately.

We do not require specific editing software or tools. Tell us what you use and show us what you can do.

Hermanus is ideal and Cape Town or the Western Cape is useful, but strong remote candidates are welcome.
