Role Overview
TreasuryONE is looking for a Junior Treasury Systems Implementation Consultant to support the delivery of financial and treasury system implementations for clients.
This role is suited to an early-career implementation professional with approximately 2–4 years’ relevant experience in financial systems, ERP implementation, business analysis, testing, fintech, payments, banking, corporate finance, treasury, or a related environment.
The role focuses on system configuration, requirements documentation, testing, data validation, client engagement, and go-live support.
Prior exposure to treasury management systems is advantageous, but not essential. Candidates with strong transferable experience in system configuration, testing, data handling, implementation support, and client-facing delivery will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
System Configuration and Delivery
Configure financial or treasury system functionality in line with approved requirements and solution designs.
Translate business requirements into system workflows, configuration settings, templates, and process rules.
Validate configuration through internal testing and support delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Requirements and Client Engagement
Participate in client workshops to gather, clarify, and document business and system requirements.
Support clients with implementation workbooks, data templates, and required inputs.
Ensure requirements, configuration decisions, and testing outcomes are clearly documented and traceable.
Testing, UAT, and Issue Resolution
Support system testing, user acceptance testing, scenario validation, and defect resolution.
Log, track, investigate, and help resolve configuration gaps, data issues, and testing defects.
Work with internal teams and clients to confirm fixes, retest solutions, and support UAT sign-off.
Data Preparation and Migration Support
Assist with data collection, cleansing, mapping, loading, and validation.
Review client data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Escalate data risks, gaps, or dependencies that may affect implementation delivery.
Go-Live and Knowledge Transfer
Support go-live preparation, production readiness, and early-life system support.
Assist with user queries, implementation issues, and minor configuration adjustments during transition.
Support knowledge transfer and handover to clients, internal teams, and support functions.
Documentation and Project Coordination
Prepare and maintain configuration guides, test scripts, solution notes, issue logs, and project documentation.
Track assigned tasks, deliverables, risks, and dependencies in line with project plans.
Provide progress updates and collaborate with project managers, consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field.
Approximately 2–4 years’ relevant experience in one or more of the following:
Financial or ERP system implementation, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage.
Business analysis, testing, process design, or implementation support.
Fintech, payments, bank integrations, or financial systems delivery.
Treasury, corporate finance, accounting, or finance roles with strong systems exposure.
Practical experience in system configuration, testing, data migration, data validation, or integrations.
Experience working in client-facing environments and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Tools and Platform Exposure
Candidates should be comfortable using technology and data tools to support implementation delivery, including:
Microsoft Excel and structured data workbooks.
System configuration interfaces or administration tools.
Testing, issue tracking, or project delivery tools.
Documentation and requirements management templates.
Exposure to any of the following would be advantageous, but is not mandatory:
Treasury management systems such as IT2, TreasuryXpress, Kyriba, Quantum, or similar platforms.
ERP, accounting, banking, payments, risk, or finance systems.
SQL, APIs, data mapping, integrations, or data structures.
Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Vendor-specific TMS training or certification.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working between business requirements and system functionality. They enjoy solving problems, working with data, supporting clients, and learning how financial systems are implemented in real-world environments.
This role would suit someone who is structured, curious, accountable, and eager to build expertise in treasury systems, financial technology, and implementation consulting.
