Key Contract Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

Takes full accountability to ensure that all strategic, critical & other facilities as defined and contracted by the Customer meet business as well as contractual requirements. Takes full accountability to develop the operating model (people, process, system) to the level where service can be delivered as per the agreed contractual deliverables, effectively, profitable and sustainable.

MAIN OUTPUTS

• Finance:
  • Ensure strategies, mechanisms and guidelines are implemented that would govern the maintenance of short, medium and long term capex budgets for the associated contracts.
  • Develop, support and comply to the FM operational budget (short & medium term)
  • Ensure compliance to all Financial Governance and ensure complete, correct and timeous billing.
• Customer:
  • Engage with different customer groups on a senior level to ensure strategic and operational alignment between the companies .
  • Implement the customer business plan in terms of execution requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Implement the mapping between customer expectation and or requirements with the contractual SLA's and applicable agreements. Ensure continuous communication to facilitate alignment.
• Operations:
  • Ensure operational strategies, mechanisms, guidelines and processes are implemented to support the general business environment the customer operates within.
  • Implement communication & change management strategies to ensure implementation of company culture, strategies, processes and procedures.
  • Align key performance areas & ensure the implementation of KPI's, reporting and contract compliance activities.
  • Engage with service providers in implementing their service delivery strategies in support of our deliverables.
  • Implement the broad contract requirements & principles for supplier contracts (together with Supply Chain)
  • Operationalise service strategies, mechanisms and guidelines to ensure service delivery to the required quality, cost, timelines and safety standards as well as in an environmental responsible manner.
• Growth & Development:
  • Implement the appropriate & desired strategy & culture required to meet the customer requirements
  • Continuously validate resource skill and competency levels required to operate in the specific environment and deliver to the contractual requirements and ensure compliance to these.
  • Implement best practices as well as new advances in methodologies, equipment and technology in the industry as provided for implementation.
• Governance:
  • Ensure strategies, mechanisms & guidelines exist to comply with the applicable statutory guidelines and compliance
  • Ensure required customer policies are implemented into own governance, policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Adherence to the Integrated Management System (IMS)

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Degree or B-Tech in Engineering / FM Qualification / Management degree (EDP, MBA or MBL advantageous)
• Matric (Senior Certificate)
• Valid SA Drivers’ License
• 10yrs relevant working experience, 6yrs FM & maintenance engineering experience. 6yrs Senior Management experience. Experience in CRM & Property Management
• Facilities Management, General Building Maintenance, People Management, Supply Chain, Procurement (especially Strategic Sourcing), Negotiation Skills, Commercial, Contract & Vendor Management, General knowledge in Finance, Law & Auditing
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP knowledge
• OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management & Risk Management Systems
