Jordan Wine Estate is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Griller to join our team at The Cellar Door, our casual eatery and wine tasting facility.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing quality food, and works well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen practices.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and cooking grilled menu items according to recipe and presentation standards
• Ensuring food quality, consistency and portion control
• Assisting with food preparation and mise en place
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic work station
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
• Following all food safety and health regulations
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Assisting with general kitchen duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a griller or in a similar kitchen position
• Passion for food and attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual and willing to work weekends and public holidays
• Relevant food preparation or culinary qualifications will be advantageous
