The Kitchen Sculler is responsible for ensuring that the kitchen is clean, well-maintained, organised, and operates according to the required Hygiene Standards. The role involves maintaining a proper level of clean inventory, supporting the kitchen team, and ensuring that all areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness at all times
Key accountabilities
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen including floors, work areas and storage spaces
Ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils for service.
Properly dispose of kitchen waste and maintain waste management systems.
Store cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment safely according to regulations.
Support kitchen staff by organizing and tidying up storage areas
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Matric/NQF 4
At least 1 years experience in a kitchen or scullery (advantageous)
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Clean criminal record
