Job Title: Kitchen Staff

Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Staff to support the daily operations of our kitchen. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and help ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food.
• Responsible for meal preparation and cooking tasks.
• Keep workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Store food correctly and rotate stock according to food safety guidelines.
• Receive and organize deliveries of food and kitchen supplies.
• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be South African or have valid work documentation to work in South Africa
