KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

Run The Pass. Lead The Kitchen. Own The Shift.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

• Experienced in a fast-paced kitchen environment with pass management skills
• A natural leader who commands respect on the floor
• Organised, disciplined and meticulous about food preparation standards
• Able to step up and take full kitchen ownership during manager's absence
• Committed to training, cross-training and developing junior kitchen staff
• Knowledgeable in food safety, R638 and proper storage procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the pass and ensure all food leaves the kitchen to standard
• Supervise cooks and scullery staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure all prep is completed, labelled and dated correctly
• Record wastage daily and complete manufacturing sheets
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly stock takes and hand to manager
• Step up to BOH management responsibilities when required
• Cross-train team members across kitchen and scullery stations

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years kitchen experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior cook role
• Proven pass management and team leadership skills
• Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
• Ability to work day and night rotating shifts, 6 days per week

• Have you previously worked as a Kitchen Supervisor, Senior Cook or Pass Co-ordinator?
• Are you comfortable managing and directing junior kitchen staff during service?
• Do you have knowledge of food safety, R638 and proper food storage procedures?
• Are you available to work night shifts (15:00–23:00), 6 days per week including weekends?
• Are you able to step up and run a kitchen independently in the absence of the Kitchen Manager?

Work Location: In person
