Below is the scope of work below:

2.2.3 Activities in scope

2.2.3.1     Preparation, Planning & Client Workshops

1.    Conduct stakeholder workshops to confirm device onboarding scope, deployment approach, roles, and responsibilities across teams.

2.    Validate the inventory of in-scope devices, including device types, quantities, and assigned users.

3.    Confirm device rebuild approach, including factory reset methodology, deployment model, and scheduling of user device availability.

4.    Confirm application requirements, including the list of standard business applications to be deployed via Microsoft Intune.

5.    Define rollout schedule, including onsite deployment planning, user scheduling, and post-go-live support approach.

2.2.3.2     Device Preparation and Rebuild

1.    Prepare in-scope devices for rebuild, including user scheduling, device collection logistics, and validation of readiness for reconfiguration.

2.    Perform device rebuilds using a controlled factory reset approach to ensure a clean and standardised operating environment.

3.    Stage devices for onboarding, including preparation for Microsoft Entra ID join and Microsoft Intune enrolment.

2.2.3.3     Device Provisioning and Microsoft Intune Enrolment

1.    Configure devices to be joined to Microsoft Entra ID to enable secure cloud-based authentication.

2.    Enrol devices into Microsoft Intune for centralised endpoint management.

3.    Apply baseline configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security policies as defined in the Microsoft Intune environment.

4.    Configure update management policies to ensure devices receive operating system and security updates in line with organisational standards.

5.    Validate successful device enrolment and policy application within Microsoft Intune.

2.2.3.4     Application Deployment and Configuration

1.    Package and deploy a defined set of required business applications through Microsoft Intune based on the confirmed application scope.

2.    Configure Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook and OneDrive for Business, to ensure user readiness post-migration.

3.    Validate successful installation and functionality of deployed applications on rebuilt devices.

2.2.3.5     User Profile Configuration and OneDrive for Business

1.    Configure OneDrive for Business on all rebuilt devices to ensure user data accessibility and synchronisation.

2.    Implement Known Folder Move (KFM) policies through Microsoft Intune to redirect key user folders, including Desktop and Documents, to OneDrive for Business.

3.    Validate that user data is accessible and correctly synchronised following device onboarding.

2.2.3.6     Onsite Deployment and User Enablement

1.    Provide onsite support during the scheduled deployment / cutover window to facilitate device handover and user onboarding.

2.    Assist users with initial sign-in, device access, and verification of application and data availability.

3.    Address immediate deployment-related issues during the onboarding process within the defined scope.

2.2.3.7     Post-Go-Live Support

1.    Provide post-go-live support for a defined period to assist users with device access, authentication, and migration-related issues.

2.    Resolve issues related to Microsoft Intune enrolment, application access, and OneDrive synchronisation within the scope of the deployment.

3.    Escalate or document issues outside of scope for follow-on support or separate engagement where required.

Pay: R450,00 per day
