Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a proactive Cleaner / Laundry Assistant to join our internal, in-house operations team. This role is ideal for a self-directed individual who takes immense pride in maintaining a world-class, spotless environment and managing daily garment and linen care. Whether your background is as a dedicated Cleaner, housekeeper, or facility support staff, you will act as the essential backbone of our daily facility standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Routine Cleaning & Laundry: Executing a daily sanitation checklist across all common areas, desks, kitchens, and meeting rooms while managing full-cycle laundry tasks (washing, drying, folding, ironing, and storing linens/uniforms).
• Deep Cleaning & Fabric Care: Managing periodic deep-cleaning schedules, glass/surface polishing, and specialized care or stain treatment for corporate fabrics and upholstery.
• Event & Hospitality Support: Assisting with setup tidying, post-event cleanup, and keeping guest/hospitality linens fresh and immaculate for weekly workshops and client meetings.
• Stock & Laundry Supply Management: Monitoring inventory of cleaning chemicals, laundry detergents, stain removers, and paper products, ensuring stock is neatly organized and reported when low.
• Mobile Task Management: Using a mobile application to receive, update, and close off daily cleaning, maintenance, and laundry tickets.

Requirements:

• Proven Discipline: A demonstrated track record of managing physical cleaning and laundry tasks independently.
• Attention to Detail: Previous experience in commercial office, hotel, laundry facility, or high-standard housekeeping environment.
• Professional Attitude: Polite, trustworthy, and respectful conduct that aligns with Career Start's culture of connection and creativity.
• Mobile Literacy: Ability to manage daily task checklists via mobile platforms.

• Reliable and trustworthy when working around office equipment, sensitive materials, and corporate spaces.
• Strong in basic communication, coordinating seamlessly with office management regarding cleaning supplies and garment status.
