Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our laundry operations.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Inspect linens for stains and damages
- Ensure proper storage of clean linens
- Maintain inventory of supplies and request replenishment when needed
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning, hotel laundry operations, dry cleaning, or laundering is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
- Must be able to work nightshift, weekends and public holidays
