Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of laundry attendants, drivers and general workers
- Manage daily operations - washing, drying, ironing, folding and quality control
- Oversee collections and deliveries to clients - hotels, guesthouses, restaurants
- Client liaison - handle queries, complaints and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage stock, chemicals, linen counts and daily production reports
- Ensure health & safety, hygiene and company procedures are followed
- Drive company vehicle for client deliveries when required
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 Driver's License with - Essential & must be willing to drive
- 3+ years supervisory experience, preferably in laundry, hospitality, cleaning or logistics
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 40+ staff
- Strong operational and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work flexible hours including weekends
- No criminal record
- Resides in/around Cape Town
Advantageous:
- Experience in commercial / industrial laundry operations
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals
