Head Hostess – Premium Nightlife Venue | Sea Point

Location: Sea Point, Cape Town
Position: Full-Time

We are looking for a confident, charismatic, and experienced Head Hostess to lead the guest experience at one of Sea Point's premier high-energy nightlife venues.

This is not a traditional restaurant hostess role. We are looking for someone with a strong personality, exceptional presence, and proven experience in a busy nightlife venue who can confidently manage high-profile guests, VIP bookings, and a fast-paced front door operation.

What You'll Do

• Lead the hostess team throughout service.
• Welcome and engage guests with confidence and professionalism.
• Manage reservations, VIP bookings, and table allocations.
• Control guest flow while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
• Liaise closely with management, security, and floor teams.
• Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally.
• Ensure the front entrance reflects the premium standard of the venue.
• Build relationships with regular guests and create memorable experiences.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Head Hostess or Senior Hostess role within a busy nightlife venue, premium bar, lounge, or nightclub.
• Nightlife venue experience is essential.
• A naturally confident, outgoing, and energetic personality.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a hostess team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and organised during high-volume service.
• Experience managing reservations and VIP guests.
• Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
