Job description
Ontwikkelings geleenthede vir jong dinamiese kandidate (24 jaar en jonger) wat ‘n passie het vir landbou en belang stel in opleiding binne die graansilo bedryf.
Kern doel van die pos:
Verleen hulp aan die Silo Bestuurder en Graangradeerder m.b.t. die werking van die silo en bepaling van die graad van kommoditeite op ‘n etiese en regverdige manier.
Minimum Vereistes:
- Graad 12 met Wiskunde of Wikunde geletterheid bo 70% is ‘n aanbeveling;
- Geldige rybewys;
- Aansoekers moet bereidwillig wees om tussen Silos te roteer.
Vaardighede:
- Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
- Rekenaarvaardig (MS Office);
- Goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede;
- Liggaamlike vaardighede om die werk te kan doen (klim van Silos ens);
- Sterk administratiewe orientasie.
Verantwoordelikhede:
- Gradering van kommoditeite (graan) onder toesig;
- Beheer van voorraad;
- Voldoen aan veiligheidsregulasies so ook voedselveiligheid;
- Verskeie silo take;
- Byhou van administrasie.

Main purpose of the position:
Provide assistance to the Silo Manager and Grain Grader regarding the operation of the Silo and the determination of the degree of commodities in an ethical and fair manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematic literacy above 70% will be an advantage;
- Driver's license;
- Applicants must be willing to rotate between Silos.
Skills:
- Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
- Computer literate (MS Office);
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Strong physical health in order to do the work (to be able to climb Silo’s etc);
- Strong administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Grading of commodities (grain) under supervision;
- Control of inventory;
- Comply with food safety and occupational safety standards;
- Various silo duties:
- Maintaining administration.
